Can anyone give me some names of the best Optical cables I can get please?

Curious about this myself having recently started using the coax output on my cd player. There seems to be some merit in the arguement that,build quality aside,there are not that many issues.

Ive had a few diffent optical cables, cheaper and more expensive versions - not been able to distinguish between them if truth be known, however my coax cable did give a more fulfilling sound (dvd to amp).

I bought my cables from Audiovisualonline, decent cables at good prices with free next day delivery.

I second that! Tis a good site. Go for the brand names on that site like Profigold, Qed etc.

I have just received an optical and coaxial cable from cableuniverse.co.uk. I have to say that on first impressions, they seem excellent, and well priced too. No more high street shops for me!!! Can't believe I've allowed myself to get fleeced for so long!!
