One of my old gale 3020 speakers has started buzzing a specific frequency.

They have lasted 7 years with my cambridge audio a5 amp. I've been happy with the sound and reliability.

I was thinking of getting some new speakers, either mission mx1's or gale monitors.

They sit on my desk facing me and are about 1 foot either side of my tft.

Which speakers should I buy and will sound good with my current amp?

Thanks

I'm in no way affiliated with any audio company. Just wanted some information as I don't know much about hardware.

Sorry what are the 'driver mounting screws'

If this doesn't help will mission mx1's be ok with my old CA a5?

If you take the grilles off your speakers you will find that there are bolts or screws holding the drive units to the front of the speaker (the baffle). Use an appropriate allen key or screwdriver to tighten each one, very carefully, a quarter of a turn. It might not solve your problem, but it could do!

There is no reason why the MX1s shouldn't work pretty well with your A5. Looking at the specs of the Missions they should be easy enough to drive.
