Which New Plasma

I'm now in the market to upgrade my old 42" hitachi plasma to a hi def 50" screen. Everyone seems to be saying the new Pioneer PDP-LX508D is the daddy of all daddy's! but at the moment it's £3,300 which is kind of more than i wanted to pay. Although I do want go go for the best or close to it. My viewing distance is only 3m therefore I need a good resolution etc. I have been told a panasonic is good but when i saw one up in richer sounds next to the pioneer it didn't look as good.....is there not a good Samsung or something that would save me some cash or do I really need to get a loan out to pay for the Pioneer??

Test drive the Samsung PS50Q97HDX ( I have the 42 inch version and it's brilliant).....You won't be sorry around £1,000.00 now too. It really is a great Plasma TV!

Get the Pioneer 428xd, Pi**es all over Samsungs. Plus its only around 1500 quid!
