I hope someone can help me! I'm looking for new In-Ears. I narrowed my search down to these ones:
1. Sony XBA-3iP2. Klipsch S4i3. Shure SE215
Or maybe any Senheisser recomendations?
I listen mainly to pop, rock and opera on my IPhone 4s,(no hip-hop) My mp3 files all have 256 bitrate. My previous In-Ear was a Senheisser CX 400 II. I am looking for an upgrade. Any other brand/type recomendations are welcome, but not sure if they are for sale in Holland!
Thank you

You can get far better sound than any of these with IEMs such as the XTZ Earphone-12 when using the Dirac player for the iPhone. I have the Sennheiser IE800 that sells for £600, and its sound is comparable to the XTZ with Dirac. There are a few people around who dismiss Dirac for competitive reasons, but those who have experienced it understand that it's not EQ - it's a DSP and a miracle of technology. Just google dirac and headphone review.

Thank you for your reply! I googled it but XTZ Earphone 12 is not for sale in Holland unfortunately! I will keep it in mind! If you had to chose from the 3 above, wich one woud you choose? Thanks

I would choose the Shure, for best quality sound.

Hi,thanks!

I narrowed my search down to the Sure SE215 and the klipsch S4i. I know the Sure is the better one,but I prefer a volume control. What about the Klipsch Image X10i? It`s over my budget( actually my partner ) but maybe if this is the best pick I will go for this one! (It`s my birthday present.)

Thanks you are really helpful.

If you like big bass, Klipsch X10 is the ticket. Personally, my ideal bass would be about 1/3 of the difference between the Shure and Klipsch, closer to the Shure of course. But if I had the Klipsch, I'd just try a bit of bass reducer EQ and see how that sounds. It works well for me with some earphones, but not others.
