Which Blu-Ray Player

Hi, I am after a second blu-ray player, I have narrowed it down to the Panasonic BMP-BD80 or Pioneer BDP-51FD. But which one gives the best picture/sound out of the two?

Good question, i myself have gone for the pioneer i used to use a ps3 which was fine but after linking up the fd51 i could see a difference straight away, same tv same movie (dark knight) but the picture was smoother less smear and darks a little deeper. I have not seen the pana im sure its fine but i have this thing with small skiny players i mean why? the fd51 felt like a proper bit of kit, but go have a demo and see if one fits your system best.

If the picture and sound quality are negligible between the two go for the Pioneer, just look at it! Proper bit of kit for the money.

I think you would ignore the Pana BD80 at your own peril - read the WHF review.
