Which AV Amp ?

If choosing between the two, which one would you go for and why ? (plz)

The Yamaha RX-V673 or The Sony STR-DN1040 ?

I do at present own the Yamaha, just wondering if it would be worthwhile changing was all ?

What speakers have you got and how big is your room?

I've got a Yamaha rxv667 and it's struggling a bit with my large room and floor standers. I'm thinking of upgrading as a result.

The Sony 1040 is going cheap as end of line stock is making way for the 1050. Check the specs, but unless you cannot do without the upgrades, you can save money to spend on better speakers/player etc.
