which amp do i go for

i am upgrading my amp to one that decodes hd audio do i go for the the onkyo str875 or one of the new yamaha's or the new denon's that are due for release here soon, i have been told the denons are a little tricky to set up the onkyo's wont have much resaleablity and theres not alot of news on the yamaha's i am looking to spend around the £1000.00 mark

Not sure who's told you these sweeping and erroneous generalisations, but given what's been heard of the new Denons to date and the fact there is very little news on the new Yamahas, as you point out, I'd go for the Onkyo.

I would sit tight for a while until the new Denon range is out and hopefully by then Yamaha would have some news on their new range.
