Which 1.5-1.8k speaker for 180-190 square feet room?

The candidates are:

PMC twenty 22, GB1i, Spendor A5. Although they are considerably cheaper, I m also considerig MA GX100 and KEF R300 as their technologies were trickled down from hi end series.

Any comment appreciated.

What's your amp and source? What is the shape and exact dimensions of the room?

Well, I've started with the room dimensions (approx. 4 m x 4.5 m) since they may have great impact to the speaker's final perforamces , then come the speakers , amp and cd player goes at the end. So, no metter what amp and other electronics are.

I would opt for the Twenty 22's out of that lot as you will be able to do what you want with them - play loud, soft bang out drum n bass or sit back with a simple vocal. The Twenty series are also less fussy about amplification / source and will shine on something modest as well as grow in sound with higher end equipment. They look rather tasty as well!

PMC 22's, PMC GB1i's and the M/A GX100's (I absolutely LOVE mine)

Wouldnt rule out the Neat Motive 2's though; superb speakers 8)

Is GX100 that good to go for it rather than the Twenty 22 (concerning price gap)? What about Twenty 22 vs GB1i? (head to head demo is not available)
