It feels like im taking 2 steps forward 1 step back,

Sony S550 or S350, but i like the idea of getting a PS3, but i read on here somewhere about it being load, surely it cant be that load, also how much worse is the picture.

Ive got a BDPS350 sony blu ray player and a 60gb PS3 my view on the two of them if that I cant see any difference in picture and sound. They are both excellent with blu ray, Both upscale to 1080p. The ps3 is much faster in loading up a blu ray/dvd or cd. The games at 1080p are amazing. The only thing i can critizise the ps3 for is I have burnt my audio cds onto its hardrive and on playback I dont think the sound is that clear. On blu ray/dvd or games it is fine though maybe one of my setting is not set properly.

Not 100% sure on the receivers both rated high though but ive not heard them.

Im looking at the yamaha DSP-AX863SE very highly rated but i bit more expensive at £530 on amazon.

Have a good listen to lots some good stuff about good luck DAZ
