Hi I have just got a th42px70 and want to upgrade my sound system.I currently have a panosonic sa-ht500 all in one .I have been thinking of getting an av amp like the sony one with the hdmi socket .Sorry can't remember the exact model number but richers sounds have it for £299.95.How much should I then spend on the speakers.I thinking of waiting until the sales after christmas to see if it comes down.I currently have sky+ and will eventully add a ps3.Any advice would be appreciated.

It's the STR-DA1200ES - last year's Award-winner, and a great buy at £300. I'd budget £300-£500 for a decent set of speakers to make the most of it.

Hi again I've just noticed in richer sounds a sony STR-DG510 for £149.95.I know it won't be as good but it has a HDMI socket would this be any good?
