What speakers for Onkyo TX NR 807

Hey there guys, i have just purchased a Onkyo 807 and really want a speaker package that will bring the best our of the Amp and the speakers. I do not have a budget issue just want the right thing. Can anyone give me some authoritative advice?

I have seen alot of Onkyo amplifier's advertised with the B&W MT30 speaker package, including the one you mention.

Hello Wayne,

I have an Onkyo 905 and I use it with a B&W 685 Theatre package but I upgraded the subwoofer to an ASW 610. It sounds fabulous with Blurays and DVDs and music is a joy. I seriuosly recommend you audition these speakers but you must have decent stands eg the Atacama range and for cables use Chord Company Carnival SilverScreen.

I run an Monitor Audio RS8 AV package with an 875.

If you have room for a full size pair of RS8's and you feed the amp with a clean mains supply the reproduction is top notch.

The presence and impact in moving big volumes of air from full size speakers with music as well as films is wonderful
