What is the best way to hook up a Marantz dv7001 to HD Receiver?

What is the best way to hook-up this player to a Onkyo 875, It will play both dvd and cd's/sa's(multi channel)

For picture; component or HDMI, for movie sound; HDMI or coax, for cd; a set of analoog interconnect, and for SA: 5.1 analoog?

Is this the right way to go?

I have a DV7001. It is connected to my AV amp RX-V1900 via HDMI and 6 coax interconnects to the multichannel connections.

If I'm watching a DVD then select HDMI best option, for SACD select Multichannel and for CD select either.

No coax is needed as sound is sent via the HDMI. CD's should sound better on Multichannel as the DV7001 will make better music I imagine over the Onkyo via HDMI.
