What is Cambridge Audio 640P ?

Could anyone tell me what is that for??🙂 sorry but I don't know🙂 Will it provide more power connected to my CA 740A amp??

short answer is it is a Phono Stage (needed for the playback of vinyl - on the basis that your intergrated amp does not have an internal phono-stage). In that regard it will do nothing to add power to your CA 740A.

its phono stage as stated for turntable use, so if youv,e got a turntable buy this as it is very good little phono amp .it has mm / mc inputs and punches way above it price range..
