hello, have you got any plans to test denon avr3808, onkyo 875 ,marantz sr-8002 ,yamaha rxv3800 in the upcoming months as a group test would love to see them battle it out between them,would look a very exciting test,and great reading.thanks.

Well we've tested the Marantz and Onkyo, and AFAIK we're still off the Denon and Yamaha Christmas card lists - actually, scrub that, I got a very nice card from Yamaha in Japan - so we're not getting equipment for review from them.

And by the time we do any review now it'd be in April/May issues, and then we'd be getting near to product replacement time, if the usual Japanese product cycles are anything to go by...

"Season's Greetings and Best Wishes for the New Year", and it had a nice pictorial map of Japan on the outside with lots of cities named - but not Hamamatsu, which is where Yamaha is based.
