Hi, I was perusing teh net for prices of cables, just in case there may be a chance to get some at the Bristol show, preferably at a discount...), and saw this http://whathifi.com/Review/Chord-Company-Carnival-SilverScreen/Specs/.

I wonder, does it mean £40 assuming 2 lengths of cable with four terminations (effectively £10 each), or does it mean £40 each?(!), does it include soldering/labour, and so is more expensive...?

I just want to have a figure in mind.

Cheers folks.

Hi there. No, they mean £40 total on top of £6 per metre unterminated. However, you will find the cable for less per metre (on top of recent VAT reduction)and terminations less than £40 but it's just a guide.

I found a 2 metre terminated pair for about £45 with a quick search (the usual suspects).

Hope this helps.

up the music:The 'termination price' is the cost of hiring a hit man.

Haha. Hehe. Hoho.

Anyhoo, they told me, at bristol earlier, that it is actually 50-something for terminations, but agreed to go it for 40.Dealt with the V nice chap with the very short - i think ginger - hair. Got 12 metres of carnival silverscreen and two interconnects at a great discount.
