What Cable?

Hi, (my 1st post)

I'm eargerly waiting for my Kef KHT 3005 SE system to turn up. But, I have a dilemma on what speaker cable would be best suited for the matching stands? I always had the intention of purchasing the highly acclaimed QED Silver Anniversay XT cable, the store recommended/advised stripped Chord Rumour because of the "too tight a fit through stands" with my preffered option. The Rumour is quoted as nearly twice the price of the Anniversary...

So it's a case of... Quality V's Compatibility V's Price! Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Don't be sucked in to paying too much. If they don't recommend S.A XT, try Silver Micro.

You may want to check that what they're saying is correct. Apparently S.A XT is too tight a fit for my B&W MT-30 too....But hey, guess what. I'm using S.A XT in my MT-30 no problem.

So what if it's a little fiddly. You only wire them up the once.

I have QED Silver Anniversary XT running to my 3005SE's. It's snug in the stands but it does fit.
