This is Going to Hurt - admittedly on DVD (the highest res physical format) - my Humax only recorded the first part. Excellent so far.

Just started 2019's Watchmen. I think the graphic novel is utterly fantastic, but I am ambivalent (to say the least) about the film - too much excised from the story to make it worthwhile, even if it captures the look and feel very well indeed. Mini-series is interesting so far, and seems almost unique in modern times in that it was well-received but not then milked for eternal further series.

Finally got round to rewatching the forst series of Mindhunter, and watching the second series for the first time. I can’t believe Netflix aren’t following it up - you just can’t stop a series like that when it’s building towards something.

I made DVDs of Chic Glastonbury and BBC Radio Theatre 2017 sets.
Once I start watching them.....can't stop.
That bass suits the PMC transmission line 👍

I remember seeing the highlights of the 2017 sets at Glastonbury.

Nile Rodgers has been involved with so many famous artists, it's mind boggling. Incredibly talented.

Yep, listening to it on my system certainly brings a smile. Most of that genre does. The texture and richness to the bass is hammered out with real conviction.

Mare of Easttown on blu ray - not too far in but seems well-acted etc etc. Not exactly on original ground in a flawed, hard-drinking cop with a chaotic family life, though!

I thought this was excellent and Kate Winslet was superb. No wonder it was nominated for 16 Emmy awards and won 4! 👍

Very good, wasn't it? Elements of Happy Valley and Broadchurch (as well as others), but you'd be extremely hard-pressed to come up with a genuinely unique cop drama these days.

Just started re-watching Spaced and Peaky Blinders - the big gap in series for the latter made us think starting from scratch made more sense than trying to pick up the complex threads from cold.

Yesterday I was watching Lava Floor on Netflix with my 11 year old grandson. If you can put up with the presenters American twang it is a good watch. Two teams compete to beat the obstacles and not fall into the red coloured water.

Finished Fleabag. It's a little different and good fun. I like the main character's use of breaking the 4th wall, works really well.
