Wharfedale Evo 10 any good ?

hi guyz,

Can i get some feedback on this speaker pls ? I'm looking at replacing my front Diamond 9.1 speakers to this but not sure if it's worth the trouble and cash !

There's one floating in ebay locally for 600AUD ( 346 pounds ) a brand new sealed .I could get the newer Diamond 10.2 for less money and the Diamond is a current model as compared to the Evo which was released in 2003 I believe.

Is it worth the money and would it be a significant upgrade from the 9.1 ? Will it match tonally with the other speakers in my HT ( 9.1 surrounds and 9CM centre ) .

Also has anyone compared this to the newer Evo2 -10 ? How does it fair ?

Thats expensive for speakers that are 6 years old, I think they were selling rrp less than that when new.

I would but some MA speakers for a little more

I use a pair of them as my centre-rear speakers in a 7.1 setup. They're extremely well-made, and I love the sound too. They were £400 over here in england when I bought them.
