Wharfdale diamond 10.1

Hi,Someone who can tell me if the Wharfedale diamond 10.1 was in a group test?I get the impression if I read the review.

If yes,was the B&W 685/686 also in that test?

The Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers won a Group Test in our previous, October issue - it was a very tight price-point test (all the contenders were £200-£250), so the B&Ws weren't included.

Others in the test were the Dali Lektor 1; Klipsch RB-10; MJ Acoustics Xeno XM1; Monitor Audio Bronze BR2; Mordaunt-Short Aviano 1

Is there a big difference between the 10.1's and the 685's?I don't have a chance to listen to both of them.

Is there such a big differce between 1 pricerange?

I'm waiting for the Yamaha 1065 review to buy an amp.(will be a Denon 2310/3310 or Yamaha 1065/1900)

If I decided witch amp,then I'll go fo a 5.1 speakerset(with 2 floorstanders) and it will be the B&W 600 range or the Wharfedale diamond range.

Witch would be best buy you think?(and if price was not an issue)

Yes, there are big differences, especially if you have a decent-sized room.

With home cinema amps of the quality/spec you're considering, the B&W 685 Theatre package would be a better fit than a package based on the Wharfedales.

Tis is an answer that really helps!!

The B&W 684's an 685's it shall be-)!

I also just found a shop where prices for Denon receivers are 25% lower than elsewhere!(750 euro for denon 2310 and 999 euro for Denon 3310!)

So that leaves more room for the speakers!!
