Just wanted to say that I'm finding the forums hard work on my ipad but they seem to be 'ok' on my MacBook Pro...

i use Firefox on the MacBook and the mercury version on my ipad and find that formatting goes haywire every time plus it seems that a lot of people tha make new posts find that it's disappeared and you'll see their post blank at the top but then it reappears underneath in a new posting...

Whats going on What Hifi? Do you need to get your developers on to this?

Even when cutting & pasting the formatting goes bonkers!

Also I seem to have to enter the verification every time I make a new post and probably 50-75% of times when replying to posts... Please advise :)

The blank posting seems to be related to Internet Explorer being a **** browser. It's usually resolved by following the instructions to enable compatibility mode here:

I haven't tried Mercury, I will try it on my iPad before responding to that bit. What version of iOS are you running? We have found that Safari on iOS6 solves most posting issues, but for previous versions you need to 'Disable Rich Text' below the posting text box.

I indeed use Safari and have not a single problem. Are people still using IE?!? :)

Running latest iOS on everything apple I've got...

only appears to be the ipad and mercury that have issues (don't use safari).

notced that you can't reply to posts which have a long title as well; you have to reduce the title letter count first...

Also get quite a few threads where I've written a reply and pressed save and then its magically deleted and you have to start all over again!

i know some very good developers Haymarket if you're reading this haha ;)

They are, yes.

We're getting there...

Amazing page, thanks a lot! Impressive to see how they managed to lose share wherever a new competitor entered the market :)

hopefully by the end of 2013 a we will have less than 5% using IE :)
