Hi All,

My friend wants to store his cd's in wav quality in wmp11 on his comp, but there's no option in the tools, option, rip music, rip settings drop down box. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

The option is in my version of wmp (although I can`t seem to find what version it is!)Maybe your friend needs to update to the latest version?

are there different versions of wmp11 ?

seems 11 is the latest version,look in Rip->more options->rip music tab->format,wav should be at the bottom of the drop down menu.

Addition Click on the little downward pointing arrow under rip to get to the more options err option

thats what i thought, ive got that option too,

ive had a creative sound card fitted, due you think its installed different codes.

I`m no expert but I don`t think a soundcard would have any bearing on the settings of wmp. If your friend hasn`t got the option to rip in wav maybe they should reinstall wmp just in case it has been corrupted in some way.
