Warranty - Richer Sounds or Sevenoaks?

Good evening forum members.
I have spent a few hours this afternoon in sunny Manchester attempting to get the best deal on a Panasonic 50" V10.
Sevenoaks will sell me one at £1479.00 (which is the best price I have found so far) complete with Panasonics 5 year warranty.
Richer Sounds (who at first told me they would only be stocking the 42") will sell me one for "not more that £1349" when they get them in stock next month.
This comes with the 12 month manufacturers warranty. I can get Richer Sounds own 5 year warranty for 10% of the list price putting the two on virtually the same price.
Both dealers informed me about supply issues so I shall have to wait a few weeks or more. My question is, which should I choose? How does the Panasonic warranty compare to the Richer Sounds warranty? Can any experienced members give me info as to how they were treated by either party when they encountered a problem please? Looking to buy next weekend so I'm not waiting until Christmas for the screen!
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the RS warranty is superior as you get servicing, a loan TV in case of a problem and it has to go back for repair, plus your money back if you don't claim within the 5 year period.

Best to make sure this all applies when buying TVs from them, but it's certainly the case on other products they sell.

Good evening professorhat - thanks for the reply.

The warranty I have read about on the website at RS does look pretty good.

Not sure how the Panasonic warranty compares to this.

It would be easier for me to buy the screen from Sevenoaks interest free, but if I know RS will provide a better warranty I shall bite the bullet and buy outright!

I might be wrong, but I don't think you can get a refund of the guarantee on TVs at Richer Sounds. On their site, it only says the Supercare is refundable, and that's not what you get for TVs it's called something slightly different. I might just not have read it properly, but even so it's still a decent service for 10% of the TVs cost.
