a new desk/layout means thatI could, in theory, squeeze some stands in to sit my Whardedale 9.1s on. However, I was then offered, nay, encouraged, to wall mount them, It shocked me too.

I am interested in this wall mounting malarcky, but I need to know more. Is it good/bad for the sound of the speaker? Any other things I am not taking into consideration? I'll have to whip out the old instruction manual and see how to wall mount these lumps too...

I'm rambling now. Basically, I need to know the ins and the outs of wall mounting.

I suppose that with wall mounts you have to make sure that your particular speaker is happy to be situated close to the wall without booming or rear ported..........

They have ports on the front, and 2 threads in the back, which I always presumed were for wall mounting.... They might not be though...

They well could be for wall mounting, probably worth researching the manufacturers site as there could be a custom bracket for your particular model...............
