I just purchases this vintage console and speakers made by "The Radio People". THe best I could find was these were manufactured in the early to mid 60's. I'm debating if I should recone or replace the driver units. Can anyone share there experience in reconing? Can anyone tell me who makes really good replacement driver units.

The wood is teak and the grill that covers the front, top and back is brass. I'm also picking up the Heathkit W-5M tube amp this weekend. I have no idea what shape it's in. With a little TLC I should be able to make this shine again.

Wow. The Garrard deck is very similar to the one in our old family radiogram.

I hope the mods don't mind me referring to another forum but it's hardly competition for these august fora so here goes.

These folk may have less up to date intersts than the folk on here.
