Very cofused connecting Pure i20 to Marantz PM6005

I have decided to try to connect a Pure i20 dock to my Marantz PM6005 amp but am very confused as to how to do this for best results. Do I connect via the RCA leads into a spare input or can I use a digital link from it straight into the amp ? Will this work before I go ahead and buy cables. Thanks a lot. :?

Your i20 is basically a DAC and your amp has an inbuilt DAC both of the sameish quality by the look of it.

I'd say you could connect either way so the choice is yours not exactly sure which would provide best quality. Probably the DAC in your amp so try the optical cable first.

Can you borrow some cables, from mates etc., to try and determine which way is best before you buy?
