Hi
I recently decided to upgrade the cabling between my DVDR/Freeview machine and CRT TV. I bought an RGB only (i.e. no audio) Scart and used an audio cable I already had between DVD and TV. On doing this the sound became too quiet to realistically watch and neither of my remotes would increase the volume. I spent some time going through the menus/audio settings of both machines without success. I also tried a different audio cable, which made no difference.
Anyone have any suggestions what would fix this, or do I just have to go back to a fully wired Scart?
Thanks
