Upgrading my KEF HT2BSE for a PV1 - would I hear a massive difference?

I currently have a 3005se package and was thinking about selling the kef sub and buying a PV1. Would I hear a massive difference in sound?

Also, if this is not a good idea. Would it be worth spending that money and buying 685s and a HTM62 for the front 3 channels instead?

Bigger fronts and centre would be a better idea IMO.

Thanks HCC. Since I have the 3005's, is it ok to use the B&W 685 and HTM62 for the front 3 while keeping the eggs as surrounds? Some people insist it's better to have all your speakers from the same manufacturer. I thought that it wouldnt be much of an issue if the front 3 are the same. I'm a bit of a novice so need some advice?

It is indeed key the front three speakers in a surround set-up match-up - rears are less vital in this respect, though similar 'voicing' helps.

I've heard the PV1 with the KEF 3005SE satellites and it's a big step up in performance - though as mentioned, upgrading your fronts/centre to bigger speakers would be a better performance-per-pound upgrade; particularly in terms of dialogue clarity and musical potential.

TheHomeCinemaCentre:You will be fine with the B&Ws , I take it you listened or ruled out the KEF IQ range?

I'm planning to audition the IQs, but since the 685s have had great reviews I thought I'd take at look at them first. I'm actually not sure what to do now? If I go for new speakers, I'll have to buy a new TV stand as my current one (similar to the Demagio DM023-CL in your ultimate guides issue) is filled with a SKY HD box, PS3, Xbox 360 and space for a new amp. Also I wouldn't be able to use the spare Kef eggs as I don't have the space to go 7.1

Have you guys got any additional thoughts on this? Should I just go with the new sub for now and then get the speakers when I move into a bigger house? Are there any good TV stands that can house 4 peices of equipment, a 40 inch tv as well as a centre speaker?

Thanks in advance.
