Never a good idea to mix different manufacturers speakers. I have the Kef 2005.3 speakers I upgraded to the 3005.SE center which I find really good. I am now thinking of upgrading the fronts to Kef floor standers circa £500 for the pair. I find the kef sub adequate

Upgrading the fronts and centre with a newer model of kefs would be the best option, but if your struggling to accommodate your 2005.1, then i wouldn't upgrade to the 3005se. Your other option would be to scrap the kefs and go for something smaller without taking a sidestep, and then it becomes difficult with not many options. The B&W MT25 would go with the Sony amp, not sure what the size difference is but certainly will look better all round then mixing and matching, and in some cases just as cheap to buy the whole package.Using the kefs as rears would be ok as long as you keep the front three the same.
