upgrading dsp ax763 70 rx v765?

i have read a lot of rumorst that 65 line is worse than 63 line is that true.but for me is only sound quality that matters,is 765 better sounding than 763?

Rumours = opinions. Why don't you demo so you can hear the differences for yourself? To be honest though, I would have thought it would be a sideways step. If you're looking for an upgrade, then you would need to be looking at the RX-V1065, RX-V1900 (if you can still find one) or the RX-V2065 at least.
