Hi, I have Arcam Musos which I am looking to upgrade for both music and films. I think they sound great but am looking for an upgrade on these speakers and of course I want to make sure they sound better than my current setup. Any recommendations that people have actually heard starting at £150 to £500 mark? How about the q acoustics 2020i anyone know if maybe they are better than the Muso's?

Thanks

Thanks for your advice on the 2020i which wharfdale and Tannoy do you recommend please? I have a Denon AVRX2000 amp. Thanks if I can keep it below £250 that would be great but I am willing depending on how much better it gets to go to 4 r £500.

Thanks again

Tannoy Revolution DC4 (approx £400), Wharfedale Diamond 121 (£300 approx) or the new Dentons (approx £500). Or if you want to go s/hand Wharfedale Diamond 10.1.

There are some very talented speakers sub £500 at present. The Tannoy Revolution DC6 (the standmount version) at £499, the Focal 705S at £399, the Dynaudio DM2/6 at £399 (current offer in Richers), and the Acoustic Energy AE301 all spring to mind. Each sounds quite different so worth an audition. Also worth seeking out deals on the out-going B&W 685s if you like the B&W sound.

Thanks, I have been looking at the whalfedale 121 does anyone know how they compare to say the Kef R100? I know that the keys are more pricey so does that necessarily mean better than the Whafedales?
