Upgrade form Linn

I am using a Linn Movie DI player with a complete set of Linn Komponent speakers.Would I achieve a marked improvement in sound if I purchase top end Pioneer or Sony.95% of source is SKY HD.

It would appear that the participants are not into hi end hi fi since I have not received any response. The emphasis, quite correctly , towards mainstream processing' I am using LINN DSI wtih IK 400 biwiring and DALI Mentor 5 speakers.Cinema syst5em is LINN DI biwired front speakers linked to Linn Komponent speakers

I think the problem is that people are not familiar with your kit.

I am familiar with some of it (Linn DS1 and Componant Speakers).

IMO You would get a substantial improvement with an Arcam AVR600; failing that an AVR400.
Both have pre-outs in case you want to keep Linn amplification for 2 channel.

It's all about taste, and you must try for yourself.
