upgrade dac power supply

If you change a dac's power supply wall wart with a dedicated psu do you get a huge improvement in sound quality. Has anyone done this and what is your thought's.

I was forced to upgrade mine since I've moved to Finland and don't have enough adaptors to go round.

It's memory, and possibly there are a lot of other factors (cleaner mains power, different circuitry, not using an adaptor) but the sound seems to be clearer with more detail. Worth a punt if it doesn't cost too much.

Using The Supplier, a dedicated PSU with my Fubar USB DAC improved dynamics and soundstage and added more life to the music. The change was not huge, but worth it.

thanks for your comments seems you get more by upgrading e.g. soundstage dynamics and a clearer sound.
