If you had to choose one single track that you use to see what your (or a prospective) hi fi system is capable of....what would it be?

No real reason for the post , just a bit of fun.

Don't forget. ONE track only.....

'Good Time' from Hard Candy by Counting Crows.

Has great left/right channel separation, electric heavy guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, banjo, vocals, nice bass and I know exactly how I like it to hear.

Shine on you crazy diamond pink floyd.

Dire Straits: Brothers in Arms

By turns rumbling thunder, solo electric guitar, exposed vocals, strong rhythms. It saves having to keep on changing CDs to test different aspects of a system... and it makes my hair stand on end on a good system!

Eloy - Pilot To Paradise from the Silent Cries Mighty Echoes album (remastered version)

I KNOW it's two, but for orchestral the opening of Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony - a whopping big grandiose sound, and probably for rock "Words" by Doves - a great feel-good track, but not perfectly produced so it can really sort out a good system.

Hi everyone - first post! For me, it has to be Fear of Life by Sam Brown from 43 Minutes - It's been my CD reference track for over 15 years.
