I've seen the Samsung UE40C7000 for just under £1000, ok it doesn't come with the glasses or 3D player but at £1000 is it to good an offer to pass on? What HiFi say and I quote "But – and this is crucial – the C7000 is a fine TV at the price even if you couldn’t give a fig for 3D." and that was at a RRP of £1800! Now the key for me is input lag. It will be hocked up to a PS3 and gaming is important, so question is go for the Samsung or wait for the reviews of the new Panasonic 42GT and 42VT and the tumbling prices?

£1000 for 40C7000 is a good price but not a no brainer, especially if gaming is important to you. Plasmas are generally better for gaming due to their faster response times. I would suggest you to check them out personally to see if you're happy with the gaming response time, before making a purchase.
