Alright fellas,

Having got myself some good kit I'm now looking for a turntable...

I have a Nad 3225pe (3020e) and some Mission 773 speakers.

What sort of table is suitable for my kit? I only really want to spend about £50-£100. So rega planars are pretty much out of the question. And I'm going second hand.

To a certain extent I can fix tables if that helps,

thanks,

The good news is that your amp has got a phono stage. Great.

The bad news is that your budget really isn't big enough for anything decent. You might get lucky to find a decent turntable from a friend or relative that only needs a bit of TLC and maybe a new stylus.

For that sort of money just look on eBay and get anything that takes your fancy as they are all going to do pretty much the same job.

I bought one of these a while back for around £100 on eBay. I put a decent cart on it and it sounded fabulous. So, keep an eye out for stuff like that on eBay. There are always things popping up.

If you'd prefer belt drive, look out for sansui sr 222 variants .
