Hey everyone,

I've recently had an idea that I'm sure someone thought of or tried before, but I couln't find anything about it online.

I have a B&W Zeppelin which I'm very happy with, but I want to be able to play records. I have no need in a big Hi-Fi system at the moment, so I just thought: Would it be possible to get a ProJect essential turntable and a preamp (Cambridge Audio for Instance), and simply connect it to the Aux port on my Zeppelin? and if so, would the sound be alright?

Hope you guys might have experience with that kind thing

Yea I guess you're right about that, no harm in trying. If I were to guess I would say it should sound mostly O.K, it's fairly powerful for small system (I think 25WX2 but I'm not sure), but so far these are just gueses

I have a somewhat simulair set-up at the moment, only with HK Soundsticks. Although it is not an ideal hifi set-up, for now I'm realy happy with it. The sound is not bad at all.

:rockout: I certainly do! :rockout:

I would love to upgrade the system, but for now that financially not realistic. With three young kids and a wife priorities lie somewhere else. So I buy lots of second hand LP's and play the hell out of the RP1.

When will you get your RP6?
