tube problem

i have a philips 32" crt tv model 32pw9308.the picture has developed a green fog which changes to a red fog which then has yellow/orange lines through it then the set turns itself off and the standby light flashes about once a second.to get round this we have to turn the set off at the front of the tv then on a again,sometimes this takes six times and it only does when we turn the tv on.thank you jason69

Well, it might not be the tube - much more likely to be a problem in the circuitry that drives it, and the fact it can be rectified by turning it on and off suggests it's probably heat related, or a component about to fail. I think a call to a friendly neighboorhood TV repairman, or to Philips, is the only answer.
