Hey,

I have a few AVI HQ videos on my laptop (stored on hard disc), but I want to transfer these videos on to playable DVD format for my smart TV (via a Blu-ray player).

Do I have to download a software that converts these videos into DVD format?

If so, can you suggest some links?

Any help would be appreciated.

~Thanks

@bigboss "Which blu ray player have you got? You might be able to connect an external hard drive & play directly without need for DVDs."

I want to transfer them onto a DVD because I don't want to take up any hard disk space.

I have the new Blu-ray player (Panasonic).

Then yes clearly you do need to convert and burn. A very swift google suggests this:
