Have you finally got the EB1 speakers? I like to know if it was worth the wait. Do you like their sound? I'm considering to get them.

Hello!

Yes, I received the EB1 this afternoon in Spain. The first impressions are very good: tender, detailed, bass very controled, delicate... My amp is only 45W (Marantz PM6003). I guess a more powerful amp can make them sound even better. But at the moment are only first impressions. I will continue to report...

About five months. Is the price you pay for artisans speakers. If EB Acoustics created an assembly line, process would be faster, but the result would be the same. Now nobody can say it was misled by false promises. I waited, and now I'm happy.

I do not need much time to say this: I've only listened the speakers 5 hours, and these are impressive given its size and price. WH's description is accurate. I cannot imagine what sound can get a more powerful amplifier than mine. I want to thank Richard that he has preferred to work with the best quality, albeit slowly. WH also by exposing the product.

These five monts have been worth it. I'm very very very happy.

Last time I checked, Kiwimoto's were in Customs at Auckland waiting for him to collect. Hopefully he'll have the same experience.

I have owned my EB1's for about a year now, they were the first real "hi-fi" speakers i'd ever bought, i have loved every minute of ownership and would recommend them to anyone. Yes waiting for them is a pain but i found Richard very helpful and informative to talk to whilst waiting. But as with all of us an upgrade is never far away and i have recently bought a pair of ATC SCM 19's, and much as i have tried to persuade the other half that we should keep the EB1's she's having none of it (probably should have mentioned the fact that i was buying the atc's before they arrived

) So in the interest of marital harmony, they have to go to an auction site near you, but regretfully so
