hi, im thinking about buying an av receiver can't decide between Pioneer lx60 or lx70 and Onkyo 606 or 875 obviously latter of the 2 products are more expensive but is there such a massive difference to justify the price. Oh 1 more thing is a THX2 certified player an absolute must have add on or could you live without it.

I own the pioneer lx70 amp & its an absolute belter!! i cant recommend it highly enough, although the onkyos get fabulous reviews etc they do say that it gets very hot! well i personaly dont like the idea of any component getting to hot, it doesnt seen normal to me & there not very nice looking to boot!!
