Thorens TD-160 Super

Hi,

This is my first post on here, I hope someone can advise me.

I have just brought my Thorens TD-160 Super which I inherited out of storage in the loft to find that the Counterbalance Component ie cord, weight etc. has been mislaid and despite fervent searching cannot be found. I am no expert on Hi-Fi and am not sure what to do next....any suggestions? Thank you.

Isn't the Super the one which came without an arm? In which case it should be fairly easy to add a new, up to date arm. Which arm is on it?

Thanks for the reply Jerry. The arm is SME Series 3. As I say I am really a novice at this so any suggestions regarding a new arm would be welcome.
