It's been a few years and some, but now they're back. The first track to filter out, Make Some Noise, is promoted by a short, parodic and slightly surreal clip of various Beastie Boy imitators, and only a snippet of the actual song.
The actual track itself, available elsewhere, but not officially out until May, is front-loaded with funky genius and the wondrous nasal-yelp of Adam Horowitz, before his compadres join the party. But from such a great beginning, it's diminishing returns, for me. Try as i might, after 20 plus listens, I'm a little underwhlemed. Hope the full album delivers.
