the remote code for panasonic bd35 blu ray to work on sony receiver ??

ive recently (today) upgraded me blu ray player and amp to

sony str da2400es

panasinic dmp bd35

now i want to use the sony remote to control the blu ray player as the panasonic remote is pants.

the only problem is in the sony manual for the amp it only lists the codes for sony blu ray players.

anyone know what the code is

I didn't think the BD35 remote was that bad, but had a look at the manual and you are, of course, quite right. As far as I know, these are pre-programmed in at manufacture and are not updated thereafter. Is there a learning facility, where you point one remote at the other and send key commands one by one?ÿ

You could consider an all-in-one such as a Harmony remoteÿ

On a Bose V20 I recently used '2060' for the Bose remote control to control a BD35, I'm not sure but this might also work on the Sony receiver.
