If you could whittle it down to just one, what would be your ultimate single song or piece of music? From the many thousands you've heard or own, what would it be? Just one, above all others, no equivocation, just a singular song. Yes, it's silly and impossible, but what would it be? Mine: The Way That He Sings by My Morning Jacket.

Well I said it was silly.

But in such a frivolous choice lies a dark truth, perhaps?

Or an un-darkened truth?

Vidrar vel til loftarasa by Sigur Ros. The most emotive piece I've ever heard. I don't mind admitting it gave me a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye

Great call for the Flaming Lips and Simon and Garfunkel

For me it's Pink Floyd: Wish you Were Here. Musically, technically, lyrically brilliant, and I could listen to it again and again and again.....

Wasn't it Perry Como sang "It's Impossible..."

couldn't choose just one song - easier to choose one to have banned from the planet maybe

That was just pronouncing it,not emotion.

Perhaps.
I tend not to try though. It's called track 7 in my house.

Are you sure it was Foreigner?

Could've been REOKansasSpeedForeignerWagon

Were all these bands blood related?

They looked and sounded very similar, and had deformed bass guitars (6 strings?????)
