Hi Torres.

I must say, what with the effort you put in to come and see us, we felt under more than a little pressure at this end!

So I'm really glad you enjoyed the day.

Thanks for the kind words - and of course for the invaluable input that you, Greg and Paul provided.

all the best

Jonny

Totally agree, it was a fantastic experience. Very enlightening.

The hospitality shown to us was fantastic, thanks to all involved.

It is nice to see the people in the mag are genuinly interested, passionate, and extremely knowledgable. I felt humbled in your presence.

Great to meet some fellow forum users face to face, hopefully get another chance to meet up in the future 🙂

Think it will be hard to beat that day this year!!!!

Thanks again

JD, the only thing missing from the day was not getting to say hello to yourself, Clare and Andrew...

There is nothing for you to feel ashamed about, Torres. Remember that all the highly desirable kit you see there do not belong to the WHF staff - they are review samples.

They are fortunate to be able to take these kit back home on 'extended reviews' and so on and can return these and pick something else up anytime - perks of the job!

When I was first there, I had a modest system and it has grown over the years - yours will too.

Apologies on my part - various circs beyond my control meant I was late in, and then nose-to-grindstone on these Forums for rest of the day.

JohnDuncan:Better than being in a cupboard.
Is that why the hifi's in a drawer?

A simple yes or no would have sufficed.
