. Looked alot smaller than I thought but once connected to my sonos amp they sounded superb even in 6x4 room.I can't believe the scale from such small boxes!

Unfortunately have had to spend some money on speaker stands but found some atacama aurora 6 on ebay for £79. can anyone suggest a filler which is orange/red(don't ask!).Atacama don't supply this colour of atabites. I was thinking maybe aquarium gravel. Does anyone know the volume needed and if i can fill to top or will this upset the balance?

h x PI x r^2 - Measure the diameter of the tubes, half that figure, square it, multiply by Pi, then times that by the height of the tube and that'll give you the volume required for each tube.

Hi dustymrb - I have mine filled white marble stone chips to about 5mm below the top rubber gasket. Whether they sound better half or three quarter full I couldnt say but you can try as you fill them up. They sound and look great.

cheers for the advice. haven't actually got the stands yet so will measure the volume when they come.

Also thanks for my Dali Lektor 2's. Just plugged them in and they sounds great! 🙂 They also sit better on my Soundstyle stands than my Pioneers did.
