Yeah, no inbuilt MiniDisc recorder either? Definitely a deal breaker for me.

Reading the firmware update page from the manufacturer it appears Internet radio features were removed from this and other Technics models. I'm guessing it was 'just too hard to make work' as as result this awesome machine will need to rely on a paired phone or external stream to play online radio content. It would be good if Technics could allow custom URL's for stations to be stored as pre-sets and then streamed/rendered on the device.

Would definitely need a Minidisc Recorder Travis or I wouldn't touch it.

Thanks for this - making it easier to track what features are missing. Need to check now if 2024/25 model has been upgraded.
