teac a-h380 and b&w 685

Those speakers need much better amplification than that. Stick to some good budget boxes like the Warfedale Diamond 9.1s (which work great with Teac kit) OR expand the budget and look to a minimum of Marantz 6002 series components or NAD C325BEE/C515BEE.

Apparently b&w "is a speaker for everyone" which will work well with most amps.

Is teac really lacking in power (2x45W)?

shouldn't i spend more on speakers rather then an amp anyway?

i really need something relatively small and good so teac seems as a right choice (sizewise) and b&w represent such a great quality...

what about other options like: monitor audio br2 or wharfedale 9.2?
