Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6 over DC4?

With the 5 star review of the Tannoy Signature DC4 Speakers I was on the verge of purchasing a pair when I saw for just £100 more I could get the larger DC6s. However I haven't seen many reviews of this model, just the tower versions. The DC6s seem to be discounted more heavily that the DC4 and now appear on paper amazing value.

What I am asking is are these just a larger version of the DC4 with an equally excellent sound quality? Is it a no brainer to spend the extra £100 if you have the space and budget or are the DC4s something special that the DC6 just can't match? I'm wondering why WHF didn't review them?

Also would they suit my Sony STA-5400ES? I heard the amp can be a little picky on speakers..

Yes, it seems like a a very good deal. Whether they'll match your Sony or not is a different matter. Try and take your amp and dem the speakers before handing over your money.
