Tag Mclaren 125m

Hi Guy's.

I need some advice and was wondering if anyone had thoughts.. I currantly have B&W PM1'S Hooked up to Roksan Caspian M2 Amp. I have recently been offered Tag Mclaren 125M Mono Blocks along with the Pre-Amp PA20R for £1500... I'm aware the Tag's are almost 17 years old.... Is it worth me getting rid of my two month old Caspian and purchasing the Tag;s..? Is it a huge step up....I;m a novice and new to the HIFI world.

That's a question nobody on here can answer. You say you've been offered, can you home audition first?

Nothing wrong with buying 17 year old amps provided they were well put together in the first place.

Only you can decide whether or not they are going to suit your room / PM1's.

If you are happy with your sounds at present why change?
